London, March 8 (Reuters) - British shield serve Ben Wallace said on Tuesday Britain would maintain Poland expecting it decided to outfit Ukraine with competitor jets, yet forewarned that doing as such could have direct implications for Poland.

"I would maintain the Poles and anything choice they make," Wallace told Sky News, adding that the United Kingdom couldn't offer plane that the Ukrainians would have the choice to use.

"We would shield Poland, we'll help them with anything that they need," he said. "Poland will understand that the choices they make will not simply clearly help Ukraine, which is something to be appreciative for, yet also may bring them into direct line of fire from countries like Russia or Belarus."

Britain has outfitted Ukraine with wary weapons as well as other military and supportive aide.

Wallace said he would agree that something to parliament on Wednesday setting out what further destructive and non-dangerous aide Britain would give, as well as what appraises the British government would urge various countries to do.
